Terms of Service

Last updated 28 August 2026

These terms govern your use of Clan, a family calendar and home organiser operated by HeyStarky. By creating a household or using Clan, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

Your account

You're responsible for the activity in your household and for keeping access to your email secure (that's how you sign in). Add family members and connect accounts only where you're entitled to.

Acceptable use

Use Clan for your own family's organisation. Don't misuse it — no unlawful content, no attempts to breach security, disrupt the service, or access other households' data.

Connected services

When you connect Google, Microsoft or Apple/iCloud, your use of those services remains subject to their own terms. You can disconnect at any time. We're not responsible for outages or changes in those third-party services.

Your content

You keep ownership of the events, photos and other content you add. You grant us the limited permission needed to store and display it so Clan can work for your household. You're responsible for having the right to upload what you add.

Availability & warranties

Clan is provided “as is”. We work to keep it reliable, but we don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and it isn't a substitute for your own record-keeping. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties and limit our liability for any loss arising from use of the service.

Termination

You can stop using Clan and request deletion of your data at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are breached.

Governing law & contact

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Questions or requests: [email protected].
